The traditional "reveal" process, commonly used in ERC-721-type token releases, involves replacing the default art of all tokens with unique and rare art. This is achieved by changing the metadata of each token on the blockchain at a specified date and time. However, due to browser caches and network factors, some users may experience a delay in seeing the updated artwork, causing a competitive disadvantage and delays in buying and selling tokens according to their rarity.
Fortunately, Plenty Tools has developed a feature called Token Reveal that addresses this issue by forcing a refresh of the cache, allowing users to see the updated artwork almost instantly after the reveal event starts. Token Reveal is also integrated with Rarity Ranking and NFT Sniper, which are discussed in the following categories.
